INTRODUCTION and BRIEF HISTORY
CVSS Ltd has been formed to support the customer base of Capital Vision, now under new management structure, formed by strong links with Direct Surveillance Solutions (DSSL). The group has considerable expertise in access control, wireless and hard wired television systems gained with various organizations. The DSSL Group felt that it was essential that a highly engineering oriented company, specialising in Closed Circuit Television for both Security and Process Control Systems, was supported to ensure the continued provision of a valued service.
To do this the Managing Director of DSSL formed CVSS Ltd and will continue to offer these facilities to a wide variety of users in all sorts of Commercial and Industrial situations. As well as designing and supplying many new installations, the company has been asked to take over the Service and Maintenance of existing systems, and ensure the performance and operational capabilities are maintained to that of the original specification.
For example, we still undertake the maintenance of a number of installed systems, some of which are now over 25 years old, but are still able to meet the required performance specifications, as a result of previous effective preventative maintenance and servicing activities. The company is also bringing wireless technology and IP delivery to a broader base of clients by supporting the service delivery of DSSL, a company with a reputation for research and development in the public sector.
The two companies now running in parallel are bringing a new dimension to development and installation of total security solutions. The DSSL Group offers an unbeatable service in terms of professional CCTV and access control development, design and installation.
CCTV can be employed to provide effective and reliable solutions in many areas including monitoring public safety, security, site management, process control and many other functions.
The DSSL group has the technical expertise and practical experience to be able to offer real solutions for a wide variety of applications.
Development of system designs that are specific to each client's needs in a broad arena brings client satisfaction to the forefront of our activities. This involves taking an identified operating requirement and planning a suitably engineered design using CCTV, together with associated technologies, to achieve a really effective solution.
